Problems with Second Life
- High technological demands, in particular the need for a lot of memory and a good graphics card, mean many computers cannot run the program
- In order to get anything above the basic 'experience' you need to pay.
- Takes time to familiarise yourself with the site and to acquire the skills necessary to navigate and build/create your avatar and property
- Figures suggest that up to 85% of registered avatars have been abandoned meaning a lot of empty space and not much traffic
